Transforming

The concept of April’s Barter is created in my film script The Tree Knows. The protagonist April Lin is a Chinese Mosuo minority woman from “Women’s Kingdom” of Yunnan Luguo Lake matriarchy area. She intents to integrate her cultural legacy of reciprocal altruism into the western system and determines to promote matriarchal inclusive spirit.

Carrying on this creation, I name my trading window as April’s Barter to inspire reciprocal exchange and environmental spirit. We can trade "one apple” for “a pear”, or “a chicken” for “a pair of shoes”, or “a book” for “a box of tea”! In reality, we do have many idle stuffs which others may need. Don’t waste, go barter, go green!
